Potthast Bros Federal mahogany card table Baltimore MD. This Potthast Bros. American Federal Style card table is an exact reproduction of one of the finest known examples of a period Boston card table c1800. Potthast only made custom hand made pieces from the best matched mahogany available.The case has two knuckle arm fluted tapered swing legs that open to support the top when opened. This card table dates from the 1920 to 1930 period and measures 36 inches wide,18 inches deep,30 inches high and 36 inches across when open. The original finish and condition are both excellent.

Early English country pine deacons bench. This English pine furniture deacons bench is all original, retaining its old washed light pine look. Single 10 inch board seat with mortised shoe foot base. This pine bench dates from the early to mid 19th century and measures 10 feet six and one half inches long,17 and one half inches to the top of its seat and 34 inches high. This is a very unique bench with its curved back. It is very strong and comfortable.
Early French cast iron door stop of a lady in full dress with original paint. This "French door stop" measures 9 and one quarter inches high by 5 and one half inches wide. All original paint. This is a rare doorstop dating from the early 19th century.

Channel upholstered sofa and chair. This sofa and chair are of good quality, and were clearly built to last. They were fairly expensive when purchased new. The heavy carving was actually rough cut by machine, and then finished by hand. C1930

RARE Country stepback blue cupboard Maine c1840. This period American country cupboard is a rare size at 32 inches wide,17 inches deep and 78 inches high. This original blue painted cupboard measures 43 inches to the top of the base. The open space inside has four shelves which each measure 9 inches high and 15 and three quarter inches deep. The top shelves are 12 inches,9 inches,6 inches and 3 and three quarter inches. This cupboard was in an old Maine estate for years.
