Antique Victorian twist wood table. "Fancy furniture" This fancy furniture twist base round top table is very rare. The twist center pedestal was carved from a single piece of fruit wood. The tripod base is all carved and the top of the tree legs also has hand carved detail. The top measures 28 inches in diameter and it is 27 and and one half inches high.Other examples of Fancy furniture from the mid to late 19th century can be seen in "Fancy Furniture" by Bruce M. Newman Published by Rizzoli c 1989

Antique Apple wood furniture,Rare American apple wood chest of drawers,This "Apple wood furniture" chest of drawers or dresser is quite rare. Apple wood furniture is near impossible to find. This apple wood dresser was made in Philadelphia Pennsylvania around 1810. We know this because of the original cedar shake drawer bottoms which were only used in that area at that time. This antique apple wood dresser measures 42 inches wide at the top,40 and and one half inches wide at its base,22 inches deep and 39 and and one quarter inches high. Dates from the American Sheraton period of furniture designs. All original except the replace Horton period style brasses. Found in a local Lyme CT Estate

Antique French furniture dresser,this antique marble top "French Dresser" measures 31 inches wide by 34 and and one half inches high by 15 and and one half inches high. The marble on this French dresser is original and a very delicious color. This French marble top dresser was made from rosewoods, and fruitwoods,and has all hand cut dovetailed drawers. Wonderful construction.The drawer pulls and feet caps are solid hand cast brass. This is an excellent example of Antique French furniture at its best.
