Antique French dropleaf table,This beautiful "French table has what is called handkercheif corners. There are four diamond shaped leaves that lift up to make the table square. This French dropleaf table is not only unusual it has a wonderful splay to its legs. This table dates from 1880. The table measures 29 and and one half inches high,13 and three quarters inches across and has 14 inch leaves. Excellent patina.

American Connecticut River Valley country pine tavern table,antique pine tabe. This period American pine tavern table has a single board top that measures 27 and and one half inches wide. This antique table is all original including its pinned top. This table has its full height at 29 inches and measures 51 inches wide. This period tavern table has a wonderful overhang and great dimensions. The single drawer measures 23 inches wide and 3 and and three quarters inches high. the base measures 36 and and one half inches wide and 20 adn and three quarters inches deep.

Pottier and Stymus Victorian walnut parlor chair,American Victorian furniture by Pottier and Stymus from New York. This American Victorian walnut chair was made in the 1860s and measures 28 inches wide, 29 and and one half inches high and 15 inches deep. This parlor chair is in excellent original condition including its finish. Pottier and Stymus were one of the top American Victorian furniture makers of their day. Other examples of their work can be seen in "Masterpieces of American Furniture From the Munson Williams Porctor Institue page 105.

Antique chairs,Chinese furniture. Fantastic pair of antique Chinese chairs. This matched pair of period Chinese chairs are in excellent original condition and date from the mid 19th century. They are made of elm wood ("This example represents a more normal proportioning of the more official cap type of arm chairs. All their vertical lines bend inward as they rise, lightening the design; and the splay of the front legs is greater than that of the back. The projecting top rail helped to accommodate an ample width of fabric, which in earlier days was commonly thrown over both back and seat and allowed to descend toward the floor. In such cases, a footstool was often further provided. Thus equipped, the chair became a seat of honor fitting it for the use of some dignitary." See "Chinese Household Furniture" by George N. Kates, 1948, page 104, item #79, for an almost exact example Shipping extra. Connecticut residents and buyers picking up in Connecticut add 6% state sales tax. The roll has a very desirable s curve to it. Three drawers over a single file drawer. The inside has multiple compartments.Dates from the 1890 period. Perfect for a laptop computer.
