Antique "Eastlake oak dining tables",American Victorian furniture Eastlake oak dining table c1865-85 in a very unusual form. This table closes up to 42" square but opens to 82 and one half inches with the three 13 and one half inches original leaves added.

Antique Federal furniture Duncan Phyfe chairs

Antique furniture, "Duncan Phyfe" type chairs. Set of six matching Colonial Revival chairs. Antique American Federal style made of San Domingan Mahogany c 1860. Attributed to cabinet maker Earnest Hagen. "Ernest Hagen" open his business in1858 forming a partnership with his old friend and shop mate J. Mathew Meier under the firm name of Meier & Hagen after buying out their old employers, A. Dohrmann, keeping it up at the old place #106 Norfolk Street. Hagen worked on many important original Duncan Phyfe pieces. Hagen furniture was made with the same attention to detail and period design that Phyfe used so he was reccommended by people needing their period pieces restored or reproduced in exacting detail. Hagen furniture is highly sought after and in many important collections. Please see Nancy McClellands "Duncan Phyfe and the English Regency 1795-1830 San Domingan mahogany is one of the finest and rarest of all the mahoganies. It was completely depleted by the 1850s. Chairs measure 34" high to crest, 18 inches high to seat, 19 inches long. All original. For more information on Hagen, Click HERE
