"Antique blanket chest" Antique American painted furniture,18th century Connecticut blanket chest in original condition retaining its soft dry red paint, butt hindges and dovetailed base and sides. The base is a wonderful full height. Measures 30" high, 49inches long, 24" deep. C1740-1750

Biedermeier,Antique Austrian Furniture. Mahogany Biedermeier Console Cabinet and Mirror c1820. This Biedermeier cabinet measures 28" across, 18 and one half inches deep, 34" high.The Biedermeier mirror measures 23" across, 68" high, 4" deep. Excellent original patina. Cabinet base has a curved door under a single drawer. this is a difficult piece to photograph in our shop so we are sorry for the poor quality picture. It is truly a beautiful and rare piece of period Biedermeier furniture. Biedermeier is a type of furniture developed in Germany during the first half of the 19th century and modeled after French Empire styles.
