Vintage country cherry Hepplewhite style night stand Item # 7780 Vintage country New England Hepplewhite style cherry wood night stand c1960. This table or night stand was hand made from perfectly matched solid cherry and has a two wide board top. The single drawer has lovely handcut dovetails, and a chamfered drawer bottom. Boston Federal Period D shaped card table c1815 Item # 7785 A good Boston cherrywood D-shaped flip-top card table, the ribbed edge top over a similar hinged leaf with a swivel mechanism (opening to a storage compartment) on a conforming shaped mahogany veneer, beaded edge frieze centering an oblong crotch mahogany panel, supported by rope-turned, tapering cherrywood legs, ending in original brass castors. Massachusetts c. 1815. (Minor front leg repairs, underside) Attributed to Thomas Seymour, Massachusetts, based on primary & secondary woods, characteristic stylistic elements, level of craftsmanship & age.
