Very good estate condition. the side chairs each measure 20 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 19.5 inches to the top of their seats and 36 inches to the top of their backs. The two arm chairs each measure 19.5 inches to the top of their seats, 21 inches wide 19 inches deep and 36 inches to the top of their backs. Wallace Nutting hand made mahogany window seat bench c1925 Item # 7354 Wallace Nutting hand made mahogany window seat bench c1925 with carved knees and ball and claw feet, upholstered inset top. See Wallace Nutting Supreme Edition General Catalog page 26 for an example of the smaller version of this bench. This is the larger size which was more expensive and is far more rare than the one illustrated. Measures 38 inches wide by 17 inches deep and 18 inches high. The burned in Wallace Nutting stamp is inside the frame.This is an exact reproduction, made by the famous furniture company of Wallace Nutting. Nutting author of "Furniture Treasury" a book that documented the finest examples of American furniture of the late 16th, 17th,18th and early 20th century in America, started a furniture company that copied the best examples from those periods. Cheryl Farber Smith is a well known modern art sculptor who's work is highly collected The base of this table has two square sculptures that can be moved to ones own decorative appeal. The solid glass top measures 48 inches square and on inch thick. The two bases (each signed by the artist) each measure 16.5 by 16.5 inches by 16.5 inches.So far we have not seen or heard of another coffee table sculpture by the artist. Kimbel Cabus mahogany library center table NY 1863 to 1882 Item # 7366 RARE Aesthetic Movement Center Table, mahogany, Kimbel and Cabus, New Yorkwith Asian design influence, NY c1863 to 1882.Measures 48 inches wide by 34 inches deep and 29 inches high.This is simply the best piece of Kimbel and Cabus we have ever come by. Notice the carved owls. This was one of Kimbel and Cabus signatures. Excellent condition.Kimbel and Cabus was one of the most important decorating and cabinet making firms in New York after the Civil War. Their work is in several Museums including the Brooklyn Museum. They did the finest cabinet work. The individual compartments measure from 11.25 inches to 12.25 inches high and 8 inches deep. This bookcase is in mint original condition including its original stenciled Danner label.They were one of the best high quality bookcase manufactures in their day.
