Bench made Mahogany inlaid Hepplewhite serpentine front sideboard or server.. This handmade piece has book matched veneers,serpentine front, satinwood inlays and straight tapered legs. This hand made piece was made in the American Federal period Hepplewhite style of 1790. This sidebord or server dates from 1900 to 1930 and measures 72 inches long by 21,left 21 right and 27 inches deep at the top and 39 and one quarter inches high. Excellent condition.

Adirondack hickory lodge furniture table rocker and two chairs c1890

Item # 4896

Adirondack hickory lodge furniture set consisting of a table, rocker and two chairs c1890. This Adirondack furniture was made from Hickory and was used in the lodges in up state New York during the late 19th century. People would travel to these lodges to get away for the heat of the city. This type of Hickory furniture was made from the Hickory trees in that area and proved to be quite strong and could withstand the different temperature changes that existed when the lodges where closed up for the winter months. Today this furniture is prized by collectors. The condition of this set is very good, strong, comfortable and not loose in any way. The quality of these antique pieces so so far superior to present day reproductions. The table measures 36 inches across and 28 inches high. The two chairs each measure 36 and one half inches to the top of their backs, 27 inches to the tops of their arms, 20 inches wide and 17 inches to the seat. The rocker measures 33 and one half inches to the top of its back, 17 inches to the seat, 20 inches deep and 27 inches to the top of its arm.

Richard Stein daybed Modern furniture biomorphic plywood couch. This "Richard Stein" daybed is all original and is from the Modernism period of furniture design. Steins designs are quite rare. A similar day bed sold at auction on February 14 1999. Stein pieces continue to increase in value. Antique raised panel solid mahogany Derby partners desk c1880. This partners desk was made from the most beautiful matching zebra grain mahogany. The drawer pulls are hand carved floral design. Both sides have writing pull outs. One side has two doors and the other drawers. The desk does come apart. Top, two banks, center section and middle drawer. Measures 66 inches wide by 42 inches deep by 32 inches high. Condition old refinish. No breaks or cracks and all the drawers work just fine. Some old top surface use marks. The gauge of the mahogany of this desk is much thicker than any we have seen in the past The mahogany measures a full two inches thick on the top and one and three quarter inches on its sides. The Derby Desk Company of Boston Mass. were makers of the highest quality desks in the late 19th century. These desks were ordered either by the very rich or company chairmans and presidents.

Lloyd Blue Deco couch and four armchairs c1930. Chrome construction with Bakelite armrest and oil cloth upholstered seat and back cushions in a stunning blue color. Signed on base The Lloyd MFG Co Heywood Wakefield Co Menominee, Mich. The sofa measures 70 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 34 inches high, chairs measures 26 inches wide by 36 inches deep by 33 inches high. This set is mint condition almost as if it was never used. We have never seen a complete Lloyd set let alone on in this condition. Between 1920 and 1940, Mr. Lloyd produced many new, unique furniture designs from large settees to small wastepaper baskets that furnished residential homes as well as commercial properties.
