Antique English Anglo Indian footstool. "Raj furniture" This Anglo Indian footstool was made during a period of English rule in India c1865 to 1880. This Raj footstool is all hand carved and put together with wooden pins. It is almost 1 inch thick. The design is a carved floral and vine pattern. The feet are scrolled with little carpet extensions which would keep it from sinking into thick Victorian oriental carpets . This antique Raj footstool measures 10 inches to the top and 13 inches wide. It measures 13 inches to the top of the fabric. Raj furniture is highly collected today and getting very difficult to find.

Antique French upholstered chairs, "French chair" Antique French carved walnut Ladys chair, "Louis XV walnut ladys chair". This antique chair measures thirty five inches tall to crest, seventeen and a half inches high to the seat, nineteen inches wide at the seat front, sixteen inches wide across the backrest and eighteen inches deep overall. This antique walnut ladys chair, upholstered with striped green silk. This beautiful chair was obviously carved by a master carver. The detail is perfect. This chair just came in from a local Haddam Connecticut estate.

"Antique Period Georgian Mahogany Wine Cooler c1800 with Tin insert" This antique mahogany wine cooler measures 19 inches high, 14 inches deep and 16 and is one half inches wide. The inside tin measures 13 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 10 and three quarters inches deep. The inside tin also has handles.Made from a beautiful deep and rich color mahogany. This wine cooler has a wonderful taper to it and heavy handmade solid brass hinges. You can see more detail if you click on the thumbnail images.

Antique French bakers rack,"Iron bakers rack" this bakers rack is all hand wrought and was made in the 1930s. It came to us from a famous actors estate "Max Schowalter" one of the most famous character actors in movie history. This rack has wonderful brass fittings inserted in areas along its side. This bakers rack measures 74 inches high by 60 inches wide by 15 inches deep and has four shelves.

Period American furniture,this antique wagon seat is all original except for the replaced hand cut oak splint seat. This wagon seat dates from the early 18th century is made from maple and has wonderul wood pin construction.Most probably made in New England. Early wagon seats are hard to find in this condition.This period American wagon seat measures 33 and and one half inches wide, 37 inches to the top of its side turnings. Traces of the original black paint can be seen all over. This wagon seat came to us from an Old Lyme Connecticut estate.
